Chapter 136 The Seven Cloud Flower

-Your name is rimulu alveratera you are a member of the northern frost dragon tribe and currently your mother the tribe chieftain is sick with a severe poison that can only be cured by a one of a kind medicine that grows inside this forest…am I right ?

I asked gently smiling at the little dragon girl in front of me her name being rimulu of course.

After rimulu finished her small meal and got satisfied,I proceeded and asked her of her origin and how she ended up here.

Rimulu came from the norther mountains a location far from this area,but I had seen those mountains from a distance before so I understood where she came from.Her tribe is called the <Ice Dragon> tribe it is a lesser dragon tribe located near the outskirts of the core zone they mainly seem to act as guardsmen for the main clan which is the <Frost Dragon> clan.

The <Frost Dragon> clan is located inside the core zone of the forest these dragons are of a higher potential and strength compared to the <Ice Dragons> who seem to be only a bit weaker version of the the <Frost Dragons> themselves  frostwing also explained on the side that the <Frost Dragon> clan might be close to his own species since he is a real <Frost Dragon> himself.

Anyways frostwing originally assumed that there was trouble going around the area where the dragons were which is why they got so unsettled,but it turns out rimulus mother was actually poisoned and currently the dragons in her tribe were in a hurry trying all kinds of things to heal their chieftain and bring her back to health,from what I understand rimulu wanted to help her mother the best she could so she planned it out and secretly sneaked out of her tribe from the mountains to go into the forest and search for that specific medicine that would heal her mother,she didn’t fly over here the reason she didn’t do that was because the guardsmen in her tribe would have noticed her right away so instead she traveled by foot unfortunately meeting the white ape on the way which immediately started attacking rimulu making the situation bad for her and finally encountering us inside the forest when she tried to escape.

After her explanation,I just couldn’t help,but smile wryly at her,the things she did were obviously very brave and touching at heart,but she was far too reckless and naive not understanding the dangers that were inside the forest,as a dragon rimulu was very strong,but she still seemed to have the mentality of a small child which makes her survival rate slump almost to the very bottom it was very lucky that we encountered her and helped her,if not because of that she would have without a doubt died at the hands of the white ape.

-That was very irresponsible from you,you know rimulu ? Your mother may be hurt right now,but if she knows that her own daughter disappeared like that out of nowhere how do you think she will feel ? Maybe that pain of poison would be trifling matter compared to her own daughter vanishing and having thoughts of what might have happened to her don’t you think ?

I said lightly scolding rimulu who in turn also drooped down showing a guilty,but also regretful look on her face,the thick fur in her hands immediately constricted as she pulled it closer to her pouting.

-Hmph…Rimulu is fine ! rimulu didn’t need your help anyways her mother also won’t be worried either since rimulus mother never paid attention towards rimulu either way she always says that rimulu has to train and become strong enough to become the next tribe chieftain ! Bahhh ! if rimulu brings mother her medicine then she will have to pay attention to rimulu !

Rimulu said her face directly contouring the look of stubbornness and reckless decision making a usually 8 to 10 year old would have with no clue of how close of deaths door she was when she fought against the white ape.

I see…her mother is too busy to take care of her own snotty little daughter…this kind of neglecting wasn’t all too uncommon from where I came from since most of the people in my world families in fact would be too busy actually care about their child and focus on their jobs all day this in turn made the teenagers or at least small children very bitter and alone so it wasn’t very surprising to her that her own mother was being cold to her.

Even dragon parents have their problems don’t they ?

I sighed,looking at the little dragon girl with a almost sympathizing look on my face,with her recklessness and demeanor she wasn’t going to leave this place and go home without the medicine to cure her mother with,looking at her though this action clearly showed that rimulu loved her mother a lot she seemed even to admire her whenever she called her the tribe chieftain is an adoration only small children could have to their star model.

-So your not gonna go home ?

I asked just to be sure.

-NO !

Rimulu said shouting at me with her stubborn high pitched voice going back to sulking as she looked the other way not meeting my face…frostwing who observed all of this from the side only smiled with a knowing look on his face he seemed to have evenly come to the same conclusion as I had and looked at me nodding his head in approval.

Scratching my head I looked at the little dragon girl with a troubled look on my face,I really wanted to just relax and train with frostwing to get stronger,but now this had to happen…my duty as a commander and leader was slowly deteriorating towards that of a normal housewife and a babysitter….not that I minded of course,but still.

-Alright…if your not going to leave then lets make it like this,I help you find the medicine that you speak of inside this forest

I decided,my decision was mainly made on the fact that she wasn’t going to leave,I also couldn’t just carry her towards the mountain to that specific dragon tribe since it would take too much time and also be a bit too dangerous with the amount of strong monsters that lurked near the outskirts of the core zone not to mention rimulus opposition towards that idea and retaliation of being forcefully brought back,right now she was pretty much one of the strongest beings in this camp she may be incredibly weakened right now,but that fact still held she could kill us if she so desired…

On top of that there was also a second reason for me to help her which could in fact benefit all of us if we make the right moves…If we somehow succeed and acquire that medicine and then deliver it to the <Ice Dragon> tribe then we could potentially create a good connection towards them and make friends with them strengthening ourselves even more.

-Hmph…Rimulu doesn’t need your help rimulu can do it alone and help mother alone rimulu doesn’t need anyone to look after her rimulu is a proud and strong dragon !

She said her words were covered with prideful demeanor and arrogance with a self sufficient attitude of hers that came to any child who thought they knew it all,I could only smile at her childish characteristics and speak.

-Maybe or maybe not either way if you want to get that medicine you speak of and help your mother you will need me,there are many things not even you can do alone no matter how strong you are for example search would be very limited and too time consuming to you added with the fact that you will need food,water and rest would also slow you down since you would need to do each of this separately everyday to continue on and until then your mother would probably die out of poisoning and actually do you even know where to search in the first place ? Or did you come here without any single clue of what your even searching for ?

I asked my words had clearly a lot of impact towards her childish mind and pressured her a lot,her face showed the utter fear she was in regarding those issues,but in the very last point I questioned her about she immediately lighted up her eyes instantly showing a cloudy mystical color as she raised her right hand and summoned a papyrus out of nowhere !

Frostwing spoke his words held a profound admiration towards the little dragon girl regarding her pretty highly as both of us observed her actions and what she was going to do next.

-Hmph ! Rimulu isn’t a idiot Rimulu knows what to search Rimulu studied within the library and found the medicine that would make mother good again look here !

She said directly pushing the piece of papyrus onto my chest as I held onto it gently a bit surprised wondering where it came from,but also dismissing the question for a moment as I raised the paper and looked at its contents.

-The Seven Cloud Flower ?

Frostwing said reading the piece of paper while sitting next to me,the written words on this piece of paper were unknown to me they were even more confusing since every character was written in a box like state only different with a small stroke or line the text never ending nor any space between them to make sense to me,seeing that frostwing was able to read the title of the paper I immediately assumed that it was their dragon language on paper even though I couldn’t understand anything that was written on the paper,I could still identify its appearance which was also illustrated on the paper itself.

The medicine rimulu talked about was indeed a flower,it had seven petals that were both big and plump formed into a lotus the color of those petals were milky white like clouds the core was also unique having something engraved on it which looked like a diamond or a drop of clear water all of this was connected to the main shaft the stem of the flower which looked a bit wiggly going down.

I had already seen dozens of different herbs and flowers inside this forest some had a lot of similarities towards my own world standards of herbs and flowers while some others had pretty unique looks,this flower on the other hand just looked unique and profound as if it didn’t even come from this world or plane of existence.

-The Seven Cloud flower its a flower that only grows deep under ground and takes 400 to 600 years to grow sucking in the earth element and heat from the earth which creates this milky white color of the petals which is why its called the seven cloud flower a cloud that is only seen underground and not above,its characteristics are that it can purge 10000 kinds of different poisons and it also can increase the purity of ones soul and body making it a very rare and unique treasure since it is one of the only things that strengthen someone permanently

Frostwing explained,he seems to know quiet a lot about these kinds of things or he simply read the papyrus…

After the small explanation rimulu once again puffed up her chest with pride,she was flat really and hiding under the big piece of pelt for warmth making it look more cute and adorable then proud and confident.

-Thats right after much research rimulu found the medicine mother needed since rimulu knows that it grows underground rimulu will only need to go into caves and look for it and then find it no time at all !

She said laughing making this whole deal look as if it was nothing,but I felt very skeptical about that if it really was this easy to find would the dragons be so unsettled right now ? They must have been more informed then this little dragon girl in front of me and tried to do all kinds of different methods and herbs to help their chieftain it really can’t be that easy…

And just as I thought so frostwing also shook his head with regret,explaining it to me.

-The seven cloud flower isn’t that easy to find it indeed grows underground,but for it to grow it needs a perfect environment from which it can suck heat out of it also only grows 400 to 600 years and has a fragrance that lures magical beasts towards it and not only that the flower itself is also nothing to be trifled with even though it has so many good uses it is still a unstable type of medicine which when swallowed will cause extreme combustion withing your body the violent and unstable aura it carries is dangerous if you can’t lock it in or pressure it weak individuals will die upon the next few minutes of swallowing the flower which is also a deadly aspect of the flower since you can’t predict it just by feeling it or looking at it

Frostwing spoke his words immediately made the smiling rimulu’s frown as she met within a stand still of reality,the chances of the flower to be present and found at the right time was just too low.

But even then,this girl didn’t just give up.

-No,wait ! I know something else ! The flower in one of the books rimulu read about stated that it was also last seen by one of our ancestors inside a deep tomb…what was its name…

Rimulu spoke hastily thinking hard about the location of the tomb she talked about a light sparking inside her brain as she shouted out again with a glint of happiness.

-Yes,it was the <Lazaru Poison Tomb> !
