It took a few minutes for the 3 to calm down as they tried dealing with their food, David was the first to get the food down his gutter with tears in his eyes before asking in return.
-Ahem, senior Caithlyn what gives you that idea?
Seeing how David wasn’t denying it outright made Caithlyn even more certain as she basically took it as the truth at this point, but knowing that David likely wanted to keep this a secret she decided to play along as she acted without looking perturbed before saying.
-Ah, you know, you two looked a bit close, but on second thought its impossible right, I think I just saw wrong because my head got high from how happily you are eating my dish sorry, forget about it, actually tell me about the dish some more do you have any advice or things you want added?
Because Caithlyn had a lot of experienced she was easily able to gloss over the topic while changing the subject, usually this would have worked, but the difference here was that both Syndra and Valentia were present, Syndra was a bit alarmed that Caithlyn figured it out so fast in their first meeting, honestly Syndra was a bit frightened and because she didn’t want to seem suspicious by overtly denying it Syndra decided to leave it to David momentarily to wait and see, Valentia this entire time on the other hand had her suspicions go over the roof the moment she heard Caithlyn say what she thought for the most part she expected Caithlyn to maybe dig deeper and force some kind of answer out of these two, but seeing that she immediately chose to change the subject made Valentia feel like her chance was quickly slipping away.
Not even Valentia knew why she was so obsessed by this, but in a sense Valentia felt isolated somehow and hurt as well, Syndra was her rival after all they had been rivals since they first enrolled into the academy, and even though they never stated it themselves Syndra was without a doubt her friend, David on the other hand was someone new who had just gotten here, but he was also the first man she actually felt affectionate with even though Valentia wouldn’t go as far as say that she fell in love with him, she did feel resistant to the idea of another woman approaching David, Syndra triggered this feeling and now that this topic came up adding their suspicious reaction to the question itself made not able to hold it anymore as she abruptly slammed the table making everyone present look at her with surprise.
Valentia knew that she was making a scene, but she couldn’t endure it anymore as she simply had to know.
-Is what she saying true? Are you two really together?

Valentia’s voice was flat as she asked that question, next a sudden silence enveloped everyone as the questioned steamed in the air.
For a moment it seemed as if no one was going to say anything, but Caithlyn changed that as she stood up with a gentle smile.
-I think that, I need to go serve some other people now, you can leave the dishes after you finish, and forget tell me your suggestions after you finish I’d love to hear your opinions!
To the very end Caithlyn was cheerful as she dragged her food cart away from the cubicle without minding the sudden shift of tone, David was grateful to her and gave her a smile before waving goodbye finally leaving only 3 of them as they sat in the cubicle with a slightly awkward air about them.
David thought about what to say as he considered the situation, at this point he thought that telling her was the only choice as Valentia likely already knew but wanted to hear it from them instead, at this point he found it easy to talk with people about him and Syndra so he didn’t need to properly choose his words before being able to say them.
But unexpectedly David’s role of explaining the situation was switched as Syndra suddenly came in.
-So what if it’s true? What is it to you if David and I are together? Why do you care so much?
The response was slightly uncalled for as Syndra conveyed those words with a slightly fed up tone and expression.
Syndra had her reasons as she felt too many people in their house cared about their relationship when they virtually shouldn’t in a sense Syndra didn’t want anyone to interfere with them as she wanted David all to herself, ever since she declared war on Hyura and how they would compete on who would win over David’s favor, Syndra had been thinking about every woman in the dorm as her rival, that without saying included Valentia as she had been her rival since they enrolled, ever since they had their first sparring match where neither of them were able to win against each other closing into a draw.
Fighting at that time was everything she had left, she lived to show she was powerful just like her mother to show the world she wasn’t one to be disregarded, Valentia had challenged that idea which caused them to become rivals as a result.
But ever since meeting David and falling in love with him Syndra quickly found herself abandoning those old thoughts, what she couldn’t give up at one point became something trivial in front of David’s smile and gentle touch which she couldn’t live without, anyone who impeded her on this became her enemy she couldn’t give up David especially not to her rival.
Feeling herself getting empowered, Syndra took David by the shoulder and into her arms, hugging him she felt his body against hers as she smelled the pleasant scent of nightqueen making her feel good, she even went farther and started kissing David her tongue swiftly finding its way into his mouth.
David was a bit surprised by her sudden actions, he was stunned as he simply turned limp for a second as everything happened so fast, Syndra’s kiss was wet and passionate it momentarily made David’s mind feel foggy but he quickly recovered though it was already finished when he did.
Valentia witnessed all this, she was fuming inside at first when she heard what Syndra said to her, hearing her say that, she knew that Syndra was basically admitting to it, but she didn’t expect her next actions, watching them kiss brought Valentia into all kinds of confusion as she didn’t know how to react other then watch and blush heavily as her mouth went wide, never did she think Syndra would do something like this, to Valentia it seemed as if there was a whole other person standing in front of her compared to the Syndra she knew, and she knew it was David who really brought on that change.
But somehow Valentia couldn’t really blame David as even Valentia herself noticed how she changed in his presence, the moment she saw how Syndra so freely and passionately kissed David her burned as envy and jealousy mixed into it, and seeing how David wasn’t resisting at all the heat in her body only grew as it spread all over her body watching his erotic expression after the kiss and his lightly blushed cheeks.
-I…I won’t accept this…
All this converged into a mass of chaos as Valentia suddenly started to do something she normally wouldn’t do as her hand reached out and grabbed David ripping him out of Syndra’s embrace, now holding him in her own embrace as David was once again surprised, but this time being clear in mind he attempted to momentarily resisted as he tried to reason with these 2 and make this ridiculous incident stop.
Unfortunately, before he could even voice his complaints, Valentia put her lips over his giving him another kiss and shutting him up, David groaned a bit while she was kissing him, but quickly his resistance subsided as he started to feel good instead, his crotch was already full of energy after having 2 beautiful girls kiss him like this, Valentia’s tongue especially felt a lot more different compared to Syndra’s whose was cooler and slicker, while Valentia’s was warmer and soft.
The earlier grab also caused David to raise his hands as he grabbed onto Valentia’s chest so they wouldn’t crash into each other, his hand grasped onto her chest caused Valentia to feel very weird as she had never before had a man touch her there before, but she didn’t feel bad and instead felt extremely good as his squeeze made the fire in her chest grow taller as they kissed, of course Valentia was an amateur when it came to kissing which is why she stumbled a little bit before David suddenly started to take control reversing the situation as Valentia became the one on the receiving end, before they finally stopped with Valentia ending up panting heavily while David looking okay as a string of saliva connected them as they parted.
With this over David seriously felt like they completely missed their tracks, Syndra was still stunned seeing David and Valentia kiss, in fact the shock soon transformed into anger as she couldn’t believe Valentia actually did that, her magic reacted to her emotions as it started to transform and turn their little cubicle into a small fridge, but David noticed quickly and turned to her, holding a slightly angry expression he felt a bit used by both of them as he glared at Syndra and told her.
-Stop! Syndra if you don’t stop I think you and I should stop!
Those words did it, as the magic immediately evaporated into thin air the moment Syndra heard what David just said to her, the anger she felt again transformed into fear and panic as she looked at David, while she didn’t know if David would actually do what he said he would do, she still didn’t want risk it as David looked really pissed at her.
David in reality wasn’t actually going to do it as he promised he wouldn’t leave her, a promise he would keep.
Valentia too calmed down significantly after seeing how pissed David looked, the whole cubicle had a far more awkward air then it had before, David not feeling comfortable sitting between these 2 decided he should finally fill the opposite seat and switched there instead leaving those 2 together.
Now face to face and with a bit of distance between each other David tried to figure out what to really say, but first he had to make one thing clear.
-Valentia, Syndra and I aren’t together.
He decided to first explain what their relationship was, having experience explaining this to Hyura he basically told her the same thing immediately shooting down her assumptions of whatever she could think of at the moment, Valentia hearing this from David felt it was slightly unbelievable, but decided to accept since it came from David’s mouth.
Most importantly Valentia felt guilty about what happened earlier instead, she had completely lost control over herself, she couldn’t remember why she did that for what reason, but she knew she did something very, very wrong.
David in fact was reminded about how Syndra and he started off, he couldn’t help but think that these two really were similar to each other, the fact they weren’t siblings alone was surprising.
But in the end David was going to forgive Valentia, as he didn’t really lose anything with that kiss, not having the common sense that this world had, David didn’t believe his body was actually anything valuable or to be kept pure, though he did want to keep this a secret as he knew that social stigma wasn’t something he should just overlook that casually.
Hearing everything from David and knowing that he didn’t hold that kiss against her made Valentia feel more than anything glad, she still felt a bit awkward and guilty though in front of David while at the same time feeling aroused as she couldn’t help but constantly replay that kiss in her mind, the ridiculousness of the situation alone made Valentia look around the cubicle, first at Syndra who looked a bit dissatisfied but calmed down and then to David who showed a slight tired expression.
Be it because of the shamelessness of the situation or because Valentia was aroused she couldn’t help but ask.
-So, if you two aren’t a couple, but still…copulate like one…can I ask for that too?
-Valentia I will cut your tongue off If you say another word…
-Syndra please…
Immediately her question garnered quiet a bit of reaction from both David and Syndra as Syndra showed deadly expression while David quickly tried to calm while giving Valentia a observing look, at this point Valentia was more than a bit ashamed of what she just asked, but she could do nothing but continue as she was still curious.
-No, I am just asking…David I didn’t really mean anything bad by it or wanted to disrespect you, but I feel like it isn’t fair that you only pay attention to Syndra and care for her needs when everyone else is also helping you as much as she is, if you two were a couple it would be completely different but you are not, so what’s the difference between me and Syndra if…if you and I…do it…
The last few words were said with a bit of difficulty as Valentia finally started to reach her limits of shame, her head had long since turned into a volcano, but now it was even emitting a bit of white smoke which David found amusing as he momentarily considered her very suggestive words.
The one person who couldn’t take it on the other hand was Syndra as she had enduring this whole time listening to this conversation, while it was true that David and her weren’t a couple and that she had no right to dictate who he gets to meet with since she wasn’t his girlfriend or anything, Syndra still felt that it was unacceptable because of one point forcing her to stand up as she glared at Valentia.
-You…how dare you say that! Of course there is a difference! Compared to someone like you who only wants David for his body I actually love him! I…I… even if David agrees I refuse someone as dirty as you touching him, No! I would rather kill you if it has to come down to it!
Syndra’s words were said with real killing intent as magic whirled around her as he eyes glinted with dangerous light, David was a bit scared witnessing this and thought that he would have to stop her again or at least try to restrain her so she wouldn’t do something she would regret, but instead of feeling intimidated like David, Valentia too stood up and met Syndra in the eye flames appeared all over her body blocking the icy wind surrounding Syndra as they confronted each other.
-If the difference is there, then that’s fine as well! Because you say you love him doesn’t mean no one else can…I, may not be the most experienced in love, but I know for certain that I like David just as much as you do, if my affection and loyalty is all it takes for David to care for me as well, then he can have it all!
That declaration had more than a bit of impact as Valentia basically admitted that she too loved David, the confession completely put the winds out of Syndra’s sails as her magic dissipated, her expression warped into that of shock too while David had basically the same expression, if everyone was embarrassed at the moment this embarrassment only grew 10 times bigger as no one knew where the look anymore.
A break became necessary and after calming down for the next 10 minutes they could finally return to the conversation, David took in a deep breath for the matter as looked at Valentia still not sure what they were even doing anymore, but seeing how determined Valentia was still he couldn’t just stop this.
-So…Valentia you want to sleep with me?
The direct question caused Valentia to turn red once again, she only just calmed down but already her heart beat like a drum in front of David who she basically said the exact same thing to.
-No! I mean Yes! I mean…I…I just want you to stop favoring Syndra over everyone else…it isn’t fair that she gets to monopolize all your love for the same thing everyone else does…I too want to experience those things…
She said with a bit of mumbling mixed in, finally putting a close to the conversation, David reflected on that, and knowing that Valentia wasn’t after his body put a bit of relief into David, Syndra couldn’t say anything in return as Valentia was basically right, the only thing she could do was wait for David’s answer who was considering this at the moment.
Syndra felt worried over all the sensation was similar to as if David was being taken away from her but not really, this entire problem really stemmed from the fact that David and Syndra weren’t a couple hence she couldn’t have a particular say in this matter, anything she does say would sound to David like Syndra was trying to take him by force without his consent or opinion, David most certainly would hate her for that and if that was so what point was there for Syndra’s love if she was only met with despise.
As said before David’s happiness was her own happiness, Syndra felt happy as long as she could continue to stay with David.
-huh?
As she was thinking this, she could feel someone suddenly hugging her, in particular putting her head onto their chest as she could hear that person heartbeat, the familiar scent of nightqueen tingled her nose making her immediately aware of who it was as she felt calm and tranquil once more.
After a few minutes Syndra finally looked up again to see David stroking her head, they looked into each other’s eyes for a bit before David spoke.
-Syndra, I won’t leave you, no matter what you think, I promised I will never leave you remember? I think that my promise is more important than anything else, so whatever it is you may be thinking, remember you can always ask me anything and I will listen.
Syndra calmed down far more then she thought after she had heard that, for a moment she thought that maybe David had forgotten about the promise, but he had always kept it in mind, things hadn’t changed between them and while Syndra didn’t ask, she knew that David wasn’t in love with her, their relationship hadn’t changed, but she would work hard to change it one day.
-Kuhh…
Valentia seeing how intimate these two were felt more than a bit jealous, she tried not to, but she couldn’t help it as her feelings had grown exponentially, David noticed that and reached his other hand for her pulling her likewise into his embrace as each girl shared one side of his body.
Hearing David reaffirm the promise she finally consented as she no longer felt threatened anymore, seeing that Syndra too seemed to accept made Valentia feel a bit relieved and glad, she still felt a bit conflicted about the fact that she and Syndra were now sharing a man with whom neither of them were actually in a relationship with, but in a sense this suited them fine, Valentia had never imagined a man would ever touch her like this in her whole life, the kiss was otherworldly and now this tender embrace made her feel like she was on cloud nine which forced Valentia’s lips to form in an awfully pleased shape which Syndra shared as they sat on one lap each looking intoxicated.
David looked at these two with a small helpless expression, he never expected he would be taking two women at the same time in his entire life, he wasn’t even intending to in the first place, but things advanced into a direction he couldn’t predict forming this situation.
David wasn’t displeased or anything, but he felt he was being assigned with more responsibility that he could actually manage, David hoped that there wouldn’t be any more girls in the future for him to take care of.
Unbeknownst to him, the future David was far off what it would be as his hopes would never become a reality.
-Ehm…since we are officially in this relationship…can I have a kiss?
-Me too! And since I was first I get the first kiss as well!
-Argh! Flaunting your seniority! Since when did the honorable Syndra get so dirty!
-What you say! Know your place I may have accepted you, but I am still his number 1!

Watching them argue, David decided he had enough of standing between them, to make them quiet he instead kissed both of them with a short gap in between as he switched each time changing lips.
David felt a bit awkward kissing two people like this, but it quickly changed as he started to get more comfortable, they too completely forgot the other as they solely focused on David’s lips and tongue, they even intuitively started to cooperate with each other when one person was being kissed the other went for a different place to smooch at like the throat or the cheek licking him like sweet candy.
Time quickly passed as they did that but no disturbed them as the cubicle was a private space no one could enter.
